| The writer should take a moment to check his facts: Private ownership of firearms has not been outlawed in the UK, though we do suffer from serious restrictions as to their possession & use. |

MIke, for all practical purposes they have been.
Although I'll concede that the word "ban" is an absolute term, the effect of your draconian laws neuters the right. |
