The July 20 Aurora, Colo., theater massacre hit former U.S. Navy Seal sniper instructor Brandon Webb particularly hard.
So hard, in fact, that he blogged about it, not the shootings or the victims but about his concern that most peace-loving, passive Americans have no response plan in place in a crisis.
Not every situation one faces will be as dire as the one in Colorado, he acknowledged.
But Webb noted that the shooter in that scenario was “severely weighted down with armor and his helmet would have also limited his vision.”

better than his flashlight article I don't want to stand there blinding attacker until the golden bb finds you...how about a green laser designator (laser flashlight) above 40F. ? The military uses a bank of them on humvees for crowds or active shooter/sniper..a gun is the only response, anything else is suicide unless you can tackle him.
