OpSD --An 86-year-old Lakeland-area woman fatally shot her son in self-defense after he punched her in the face and they exchanged gunfire, officials said Saturday. No charges are expected against Nancy Pennypacker, who gunned down 64-year-old William Pennypacker at about 10:25 p.m. in her residence, 1610 Reynolds Road, Lot #40, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
