Convenience store clerk shoots violent robber in self defense (FL)
OpSD --Police say that the 25 year old store clerk was in the Snappy Convenience Store on Friday night when a hooded man walked in, drew a gun, and pointed it at the clerk. Fearing for his life, the clerk reportedly grabbed his self defense gun and shot the robber once in the jaw, causing the robber to fall to the floor. When the robber tried to get up and continue the attack, the clerk fired a second shot, causing the robber to cease his attack, according to police.

Knife-Wielding Attacker Shot Dead (TN)
OpSD --Police say a man with a knife raced through the parking lot just after 3:00 p.m.. Witnesses say the man chased a delivery driver and others, but was killed when he tried to lunge his knife at one driver leaving the parking lot. The driver pulled a gun and killed his attacker on the spot. ... Witnesses say two little girls were inside the car when the attacker lunged at the driver.

 
Police In Charlotte Investigate Deadly Shooting (NC)
OpSD --Police said a woman's ex-husband confronted the woman and her boyfriend at a home on Breckfield Court in the Steele Creek Division. During the confrontation, the boyfriend shot and killed the ex-husband, officers said.

 
Store's owner won't be charged (MS)
OpSD --The store owner, whose name authorities are not releasing, chased two robbers from the La Chiquita grocery store, 4002 U.S. 61 South, in an attempt to get the license number of the Toyota Corolla the robbers were driving, Scott said Friday. The suspects shot at the store owner, who returned fire and shot the suspect who fell from the bridge and died.
